Windows 11 deactivated after 24h2 update

I updated my computer today to 24H2 and after it rebooted it requested me to activate my copy of Windows Home. I attempted to using the key that I have but it says that it can't.

I have inserted a screenshot below. If you need any further information please let me know.

    Mine did the same after the 24H2 update. Entering the key that came with the PC fixed it.

    A long story short. What did do the trick for me and only took 5 min:

    I just bought a licence on line which was only about $10 US. It is legal and it worked. Then to think that Microsoft charges hundreds of dollars for the same thing.

    I have the same issue. Updated today to version 24H2 and product key is lost. Of course its not laying on my desk waiting to be reentered. I have no idea where I put it together with the disc, therefor its really annoying that Microsoft ignores that issue that is reported already by testers since at least October.

    Having the same issue with a build kit I bought from Corsair. Windows 11 was preinstalled by them. I've tried the cmd line prompt to retrieve the key with no results. I have currently rolled back to the previous update and the watermark is gone for now.

    after the new update 24H2 my pc started showing an activate windows popup. when i tried to troubleshoot it said there was never a product code to begin with. i bought this computer about a year ago with windows 11 pre-installed. all i got sent was a disc and no activation code. if anyone can help please let me know.
