Mine did the same after the 24H2 update. Entering the key that came with the PC fixed it.

I updated my computer today to 24H2 and after it rebooted it requested me to activate my copy of Windows Home. I attempted to using the key that I have but it says that it can't.
I have inserted a screenshot below. If you need any further information please let me know.

2024-12-13T08:47:39+00:00 I have the same issue. Updated today to version 24H2 and product key is lost. Of course its not laying on my desk waiting to be reentered. I have no idea where I put it together with the disc, therefor its really annoying that Microsoft ignores that issue that is reported already by testers since at least October.

2024-12-12T01:10:12+00:00 Having the same issue with a build kit I bought from Corsair. Windows 11 was preinstalled by them. I've tried the cmd line prompt to retrieve the key with no results. I have currently rolled back to the previous update and the watermark is gone for now.

2024-10-21T05:26:10+00:00 I have same problem with OEM key. Immediately after 24H2 update my windows 11 was deactivated. Then randomly after one restart it was activated again. Now it is deactivated no matter how many times I restart.

2024-10-18T16:23:03+00:00 I also have the same problem my pc is build by a shop they installed an OEM version on it and I can see the key in system info. But I don't have a activated Windows 11 anymore. Also happened after update to 24h2 today...
