Mouse Cursor Size Issue on Windows 11 (v24H2) - HP Spectre x360

Hello everyone, I am experiencing a strange issue with my Windows 11 (version 24H2) laptop. Every time I boot up my HP Spectre x360 16-inch 2-in-1 laptop, the mouse cursor appears significantly larger than normal.

I found that resetting the graphics card temporarily resolves the issue, but the problem reoccurs with each reboot. changing the screen resolution also fixed it, any solution? My laptop is equipped with Intel Iris Xe Graphics and has 8GB of RAM.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

    Agreed, it's the lowest impact fix I've been able to find. Disabling services generally isn't the best way to go

    I'm not saying use this method over task scheduler. I'm asking for confirmation of this service being the root cause or not. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    I've managed to keep the service(hence rotation) and resolve the issue but the method is bit convoluded and seems finickier than just automating DPI change.

    It could well be related, the tricky thing is finding out if the service has dependencies which are in effect doing the same thing as resetting the dpi. Or it could be another service which again is doing the same thing. You would think it would be fairly easy for Microsoft, Intel or HP etc to trace through this if only they would take it seriously, which they sure don't seem to be at the moment

    Right, but it can at least be a starting point as it's somehow connected to the root cause enough to prevent the issue - if someone would confirm that is, at least is so for me. Anyways, I'm quite satisfied at the state of my device, I'll not be following this thread from now on.

    Just hoping this gets fixed someday.
