Hello everyone, I am experiencing a strange issue with my Windows 11 (version 24H2) laptop. Every time I boot up my HP Spectre x360 16-inch 2-in-1 laptop, the mouse cursor appears significantly larger than normal.
I found that resetting the graphics card temporarily resolves the issue, but the problem reoccurs with each reboot. changing the screen resolution also fixed it, any solution? My laptop is equipped with Intel Iris Xe Graphics and has 8GB of RAM.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

After I performed a clean installation of Windows and reinstalled the standard system drivers—without any custom settings—everything seems to be working perfectly now.
So I guess then it was the reinstallation that fixed it for me as well, not the windows update.
I also fiddled with Intel driver on the old installation, before the problem was introduced. I'mna stick with OEM drivers from now on xD
Sorry but I did not understand what you do to fix the issue after you have it.
Did you reinstall windows 24H2 or you did update the graphic driver only with Intel Support Assistance?
What I did was clean install Windows11 22H2, upgrade to 23H2 then 24H2 though not sure if the upgrade steps are necessary. I just tried using Lenovo provided factory image which just happened to be 22H2.
No Intel driver in the process, only OEM drivers were used and I've been issue free for 11 days now.
Though since reinstallation is quite a nuisance, probably good idea to wait for more confirmations. Did you ever use non-OEM, Intel issued driver before all this?
EDIT: After reading some previous replies, perhaps it's nothing to do with OEM/Intel driver but just the reinstallation of windows11 as I'm only using OEM driver and Tasneem_Khan is using Intel's latest driver.
My laptop is HP Spectre X360 14 inch and I did nothing since received this issue after 24H2 update.
But a lot of users did try a lot of ways and did not find solution until now to fix this issue with this laptop; clean installation Windows, OEM drivers and Intel drivers etc. Maybe it can change from laptop type to laptop how to solve the issue, I am not sure.
same for me on my surface pro11, ARM with all the other incompatibility issues.
