Cannot update to 24H2 because of partition error

Hello, I really need help with performing the update to Windows 11 24H2 update.

I have tried to search for update in Windows Update multiple times, and yet it keepts telling me I'm on the latest update. There are nothing in the optional section either. This is despite the fact my build version is 21H2, which is very old now.

I have tried downloading the Windows Update Assistant, but that was to no avail because every time it keepts telling me "we couldn't update the system reserved partition". I have 95 free gbs on my OS:C and so I have no idea what is causing this. I tried deleting temporary files, using the CMD and create a Y drive then deleting fonts through it, labelling the product file to .old and even tried a set of command to restart registries. The Update Assistant or the ISO version, both returned with the same message.

I have grown quite desperate now since I realized Windows never even offered to update me to 22H2 and 23H2. All the tutorials on Youtube all pointed to the MS guide to deleting the fonts. I ran out of options, and I can't contact any agents because the system keep telling me my account was logged in too many times.

    Step 5 may not work when Windows is running.

    Step 6 won't work because there is no adjacent free space. Maybe you can start a new thread and post a question (on creating a new EFI partition). After creating the thread, post the link to that thread here.

    To be honest i’m not sure if i had the latest one. I just opened the tool afterwards hoping it would recommended me a bios update and I was lucky.

    I have the Legion 5 pro16arx8

    Is this the correct way:

    • Type diskpart and press Enter.
    1. List the Disks:
      • Type list disk and press Enter to see all the available disks on your system.
    2. Select the Disk Containing the EFI Partition:
      • Type select disk X (replace X with the number of the disk containing the EFI partition) and press Enter.
    3. List the Partitions:
      • Type list partition and press Enter to see all the partitions on the selected disk.
    4. Select the EFI Partition:
      • Type select partition Y (replace Y with the number of the EFI partition) and press Enter.
    5. Delete the EFI Partition:
      • Type delete partition override and press Enter. Warning: This will remove the existing EFI partition, so make sure you have backups or have planned to recreate it.
    6. Create a New EFI Partition:
      • Type create partition efi size=200 (this creates a new EFI partition of 200 MB) and press Enter.
    7. Format the New EFI Partition:
      • Type format fs=fat32 quick and press Enter to format the partition as FAT32.
    8. Assign a Letter to the EFI Partition:
      • Type assign letter=Z (you can choose any available letter) and press Enter.

    How can I do this through Diskpart or how can I do this through AOMEI(I can`t really understand what the user did)?
