How do I go back to the old UI on copilot

I'm genuinely not sure that made Microsoft sit design this and say "ah yes this is what we are going for and this is what out customers will love" it's complete and utter garbage! How do I switch back to that old white UI with my previous chats on the side not this black minimalist BS

    If you use microsoft edge on the top right corner click the Copilot Logo and can still access the old version

    I GAVE YOUR REPLY THE 5 STARS, but I would've given you a million! That does work! If you click the expand button, it does jettison you out to the new version, but you can just drag the window bigger for a larger space and stay in that original version. THANK YOU! I hope others here see your reply, and I hope Microsoft doesn't! Not only is it the same, it still has all my previous sessions. Much, much appreciated for this tip. But I feel like we're on borrowed time!

    Look at some of the other replies here, and the one CarlossAAM34 to mine. On a desktop with Edge, click the blue-green Copilot logo in the top right corner and you'll access the previous version and all your history. I haven't figured out how to do it on my phone yet, but I hope to. It made my day having all that back.

    I was hoping to find a way to go back to the old UI on Copilot, but I can see that I'm not the only one who is having the same problems. I guess the only thing to ask is what AI is similar to the old Copilot? Is ChatGPT as good as the old Copilot, if not better? I don't know what Microsoft is going to do about this (if they have any intention to do something about it), but I do have some important school assignments and projects I need help researching, and this version of Copilot doesn't seem to be able to help me out in that regard.

    Updating: Looking at some posts on here, I've found out how to get the old version back (and hope that Microsoft will at least consider on not taking it down). The only way I know of is to go onto your Edge browser and look for the Copilot logo on the upper right corner of your computer screen (it should be blue with some green on the left side, not the rainbow colored one). It will have all the past conversations. I even tried out something new, and it gave me a response much like it used to. Hope this helps.

    I found a way to get all the history.

    1. click to the Copilot symbol at the left side of the chat bar
    2. click to the history symbol at the same location

    yep, now you can get back your history
