When should one expect to see 24H2 show up via Windows Update? I have 2 Windows 11 23H2 computers, an Asus motherboard desktop (with Intel B760M chipset) with 13th gen Intel CPU and an HP laptop with 11th gen Intel CPU. Both have "get the latest updates as soon as they're available" checked. On the desktop my most recent update was "2024-10 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5044380)."
Just reverted back to 23H2 to have everything working smoothly, dont think im gonna consider upgrading to 24h2 for the next months

October 1st 24H2 began a phased release via WU. 1st-hand, I can vouch for the fact that not all Users or devices receive it immediately nor simultaneously. It might show up sometime over a period of possibly several weeks... and that's barring any delays or pauses. Hard to say how long an individual may wait.
One can, however, use WUA/MCT. It is always up to the minute. I used that Oct. 2nd; couldn't be bothered waiting.
As for "Known Issues", they are very specific, certain criteria, software/hardware. There are 10, is all. Obviously, none applied to my machine. Check your gear 1st, of course. Here they are 👇
