Can anyone advise me how to stop the 'Proxy settings per user' in the Registry under 'Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings' from returning to Zero everytime I reboot the PC when I want it to stay set at 1. I am not an expert on PC but can sort things out if I'm given clear instructions. I am running the latest up to date version of Windows 10. Many thanks in advance.

In the Auditing tab, select "Everyone" and click "View". Post screenshot.

2024-10-03T12:56:14+00:00 The "4657" event ID should be created if the proxy setting reverted to 0 and you enabled auditing correctly.
I'd like to see the output of the Auditing tab.
Also, post the output of this command:
auditpol /set /subcategory:"Registry" /success:enable(run it from admin Command Prompt.)
You ran that command earlier, but the output/screenshot wasn't posted.
