    Hi,
Kayece here, An Independent advisor and a user just like you. I will be happy to assist you today.

May I ask if this only happens on the messenger or does all external links from other apps open to MS Edge?

In the meantime, you can follow these steps:

*Open the Windows Settings by pressing the Win + I keys.
*Navigate to Apps > Default apps.
*Scroll down and click on Choose default apps by protocol.
*Locate MICROSOFT EDGE in the list
*Click on the program icon to the right of it.
*From the list, select your desired Browser to set it as the default for the protocol.
    *Confirm the change if prompted.
    *Restart your device.
*Check if it still opens links in MS edge.

I hope this helps. If you need more assistance, please let me know. I look forward to your response.

My default browser is already Chrome.

My default browser is Google Chrome. I've checked twice. Links in Meta Messenger is opening links in Microsoft Edge anyway.

This probably won't work for everyone as it only allows to change from another browser that is avaible via the Microsoft app store -> that excludes Chrome. Anotther lousy move from Microsoft.
