I just made the asked the messenger update, and now all external links opens up in EDGE instead of my default browser. And I see no option to set it back.

2024-12-01T08:52:38+00:00 3 dots is the chrome menu. Yes it is specific to Chrome, I have no idea whether other browsers support it. Edge has something similar "pin to taskbar" though it doesn't work as well. Also I think all browsers let you click the icon to the left of the url and drag it to the desktop. Which will basically launch you into that web page. It's just that the chrome feature is especially good because it's quite hard to distinguish the page from a native app, whereas other methods or browsers you can still tell you're in a browser. I think if you look around there's probably other technologies for wrapping a web page.
