Hello,
My PC crashed frequently due to a faulty memory stick. When I used a new memory stick, the problem didn't occurred anymore. Unfortunately, the crash also occurred during the windows update after the in-place upgrade. Until now, I have been unable to download and install two important updates -- the latest cumulative update and the update from August. (Two error codes (0x80070643 and 0x800f0805) appeared alternately)
I just tried Windows update troubleshooter and get a diagnosis --
WaaSMedicService
Issue found by :WinRETargetingPlugin
Problem with BITS service : The requested service has already been started. More help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 2182

I have upgraded from win7 to win10 about 2 years ago and haven't had any serious system problem like this, everything worked fine, in fact, I don't understand why you say that installing 22h2 on a legacy bios is challenging, and the heci.inf didn't cause any problems, why do you think the problem is caused by the driver? I was running a windows update when the crash happened, and then I could only hard boot my PC, is there any other cause of the problem?
kb5042320 seemed to be downloaded and installed successfully, but when I rechecked windows update, it's automatically redownloaded and tried to reinstall, kb5044273 still can't be downloaded successfully.
Is there any targeted solution for Windows update error? Why can't it be solved here?
I notice that heci.inf is system driver, It shows 'error removing heci.inf when I try to remove it. You told me not to remove the system driver before, why are you telling me to remove it now?
I suggest removing System drivers as a last resort. The previous output shows the driver is very outdated (10/19/2010), which can cause problems (especially the error code 0xc1900101) during the setup. Removing drivers is a trial-and-error solution because the logs didn't indicate which driver was at fault.

To fix the CBS error code 0x800f0805 surgically, you may try Sysnative forum, the best forum for such WU/CBS/CSI issues.
Please see if you can uninstall these two driver packages using Driver Store Explorer.

If nothing helps, you may create an image-based backup of the OS partition to an external drive and consider clean installing 22H2 using USB.
