I'm having issues with the Sonicwall Global VPN Client (GVC) on Windows 11 24H2. The GVC (IPsec) connection works fine, but it acts like it is severely struggling to pass data through the connection. Apps all freeze up as they are trying to access network resources over the VPN. Sending pings over the connection is not reliable at larger packet sizes. The default 32 byte pings seem to get through fine, but higher packet sizes struggle. I can ping with up to around 1140 byte packets before latency starts to rise and eventually leads to time outs.
GVC works fine on Windows 10. Sonicwall NetExtender on windows 11 24H2 on the same machine as GVC does not have these issues. I haven't been able to find any real solutions for this except that everyone is complaining about 24H2 being the problem for over 6 months now.
I've tried the network reset, turning off IPv6 and installing the Virtual Machine Platform feature, but so far nothing has made any improvements. I will probably put a support ticket in with Sonicwall as well, but wanted to also put something here as this seems to be a wider issue with windows 11 in general.
