windows 11 version 24H2 not updating

i keep trying to update the latest one which is windows 11 version 24H2, but i keep getting the " We couldn't update the system reserved partition" I'm not that good with computers so if someone can help me resolve this issue that would be dope!

Hi ,

Search for cmd. Press-and-hold or right-click on Command Prompt in the results, and select Run as administrator.

At the command prompt, type mountvol y: /s and then hit Enter. This will add the Y: drive letter to access the System Partition.

Switch to the Y drive by typing Y: and press Enter. Then, navigate to the Fonts folder by typing cd EFI\Microsoft\Boot\Fonts. Once there, type del *.* to delete font files. The system may ask you if you are sure to continue, press Y and then Enter to continue.

    Hi ,

    You will do the following: download the Minitool Partition Wizard Portable version and then run it as administrator > After opening it, go to drive C > right-click > select Move or resize > remove 100 MB > press OK > and apply > wait for the process to finish and restart the computer.

    After the above process, Minitool Partition Wizard will open again. Select the 100 MB partition on disk 0 > right-click and select Extend and extend using the 100 MB that we removed from drive C, click OK and apply.

    Restart the computer and try to restart the update process.

    i followed the directions and it's still not working, get's to about 8% on the download and then says We couldn't update the system reserved partition".

    The required action is to extend the EFI System Partition, which has the Microsoft reserved partition next to it. The thing with Mini Tool Partition Wizard is that it cannot move the Microsoft reserved partition, while being able to delete it. You have to make a choice between moving and deleting the Microsoft reserved partition.

    If you choose to delete it, there is not even a necessity to shrink drive C from the left.

    If you choose to keep and move it, not only does drive C need to be shrunk, but also Mini Tool Partition Wizard is not capable of performing all of the operations as opposed to EaseUS or AOMEI.
