Windows 11, version 24H2 won't install

Hello

I never had any problems with my PC .

Windows 11, version 24H2 update is ready to install, I approve the restart, it starts working, stops at 68% for 5 minutes, then restarts and turns off PC. When I booth back, it simply wants to download it and install it again.

Troubleshooter shows Error but offers no solution.

I have downloaded the ISO and followed all instructions, but 26% in, the installer just stops all goes back to windows and says Windows 11 instalation failed.

Any ideas?

similar problem Windows 11 Pro with 500 GB disc space available 1GB fiber internet 24H2 takes forever to download, the gets less then 50% and install FAILS Tried to install 24H2 over and over and keeps FAILING

Once again, I have to wonder about Microsoft's unforgivable INVOLVEMENT regarding the 24H2 bad installation problems.

They have been going on globally (millions of computers) for ½ year now, and no solution / fix seems to be found.

This forum is full of "anxious cries for help" about this! Many have already given up - so Microsoft doesn't seem to be reacting to the issue in any way.

Even the moderators have no way of giving a single "suitable", sufficiently simple solution for a NORMAL user.

For example, Microsoft has invest a lot now in artificial intelligence, but such a BASIC THING is left to function poorly.

I have used Windows for 30 years and I have never seen such a disaster before.😒😒

    How true, how true!

Does anyone that Microsoft read those myriad messages? I guess not. They all go in the digital waste basket...

Soon be October. Those stuck on 23h2 will remain stuck on it... I suspect. Eventually they will have unsupported software. Hopefully for those on 24h2 it will be a smooth upgrade this time round.
