Windows 11, version 24H2 won't install

I have tried everything suggested, and wasted a great deal of time, but the Windows 11 24H2 update will not install. I am continually prompted to restart my computer, and the installation fails every time.

Can't download or install windows media player from store, starts download and they says there's been an error. I've tried 25+ times. I phoned the numbers they supply for help and they say to go on line. On line tells me to phone support. What a total joke Windows 11 is.

Windows media player is already included as standard in every Windows 11 OS.

You don't need to download it from the Store.

Just type the name in the SEARCH BOX and open the app.

I've been through every test and check there is on what's supposedly causing the 24H2 update to fail. My install error tells me it falls over on the safe boot/drivers install stage. Trouble is I've run Microsoft's own memory integrity tool to find the offending driver and it tells me there isn't one! I'm heartily sick of trying to make this sodding update install and Microsoft's technical support is completely useless, populated as it is with generic responses to specific problems, stuff like..."make sure your PC is fully updated" and "do a clean boot before updating". NONE of it works and when you tell them that they go quiet. They clearly haven't got a clue what's going on here and I suspect a basic flaw in the update itself that they won't admit to.

One of these days I suppose I'll have to flatten my system and start again to get 24H2 to install, but I'm damned well not doing it until I need to and to hell with what Microsoft tells me about the supposed security implications of not having it. If it was that important they'd make sure the bloody thing worked for everyone and not just those with the latest kit!!

Always the log files from the ISO after looking at them for weeks googling extracts that's when I stumbled on the memory integrity check and someone said it's that to a 2024 question. Only at about 70%. 20% or so pesky drivers.

Have you tried the Farbar thing.
