It's the same (UDC) driver. But the INF number has changed since you rolled back the driver.

To uninstall the driver using PnpUtil, run:

From the admin Command Prompt, run:

  • md C:\Drivers
  • DISM /online /export-driver /destination:C:\Drivers

The above commands backup the drivers. After the above operation is complete, run the following command to completely uninstall the Lenovo UDC driver.

  • pnputil /delete-driver oem62.inf /uninstall /force
  • pnputil /delete-driver oem33.inf /uninstall /force

could you explain a bit what this means i didn't quite understand what you said
and do i uninstall Lenovo udc if its interfering or should i update it if its possible?
and is it safe to uninstall this driver

I don't know what the purpose of that driver is, but it's the driver causing the error during the setup. You may post it in the Lenovo forum to hear what they say.

If they say it's fine to uninstall the driver, use the instructions below:

To uninstall the driver using PnpUtil, run:

From the admin Command Prompt, run:

    • md C:\Drivers
    • DISM /online /export-driver /destination:C:\Drivers

The above commands backup the drivers. After the above operation is complete, run the following command to completely uninstall the Lenovo UDC driver.

    • pnputil /delete-driver oem80.inf /uninstall /force

The Lenovo Universal Device Client (UDC) driver failed to migrate.

    udcdriver.inf_amd64_a7e399f6e646bbf5

    As per Lenovo:

Lenovo UDC is a service used to connect clients with Lenovo cloud services and is preloaded on some Lenovo devices. Lenovo UDC is also a component of the following products:

    • Lenovo Freestyle
    • Lenovo Device Intelligence
    • Lenovo Device Manager
    • ThinkSmart Manager

If you wish to uninstall the driver, you can use Driver Store Explorer. Be sure to export all drivers before deleting the UDC driver.

Or, contact Lenovo to see if you can download a fresh Lenovo Universal Device Client (UDC) driver package.
