Boot without primary partition

Hello,

My hard disk is starting to run very slow, so I'd like to boot my PC onto my ssd.

Would it be possible to change the main partition to put it on my ssd?

    You can back that data up to any drive you have available, there is not much data to backup.

    Alright, thanks a lot.

    Should i opt for a hard disk or usb or even a drive to back them up?

    Backup your files first.

    You will need an empty 8GB USB flash drive for the installation USB, because the process to create the bootable USB will delete all content on the USB.

    Click this link:

    to download the Media Creation Tool (Click on Download Tool Now), with that you can create a bootable USB flash drive (min 8GB) using that tool (Select Create Installation Media for Another PC),

    Then, Boot your PC from the Installation Media you just created (change Boot Order in your BIOS) to begin installing Windows 10

    During the installation process skip the steps which ask for a product key and select the option 'I am Reinstalling Windows 10 on this PC'.

    Yes the hdd is dying, so i ordered a usb to back up my data.

    How can i install it to the sdd, i only use it to go to the web, so i don't really care if it's slower.

    Thank you for the screenshot, that drive is failing, you need to backup all your files as soon as possible and then purchase a new drive or install Windows on the other drive, but that other drive will be much slower than an SSD.
