Windows 11 reached end of service

Down in the system tray, it shows "Your version of Windows 11 has reached end of service. Click to download a newer version of Windows 11 to stay updated."

When I click on it, the Windows Update window opens. Its states You're Up to Date but under it, it shows "Your device is missing important security updates. Make sure to keep device on and plugged in so updates can complete.

I am not sure how to resolve.

    Well good information to confirm but I am aware it's not "compatible": because it wasn't compatible for 23H2 either but that Enablement update got me past that to once again receive updates. The system runs Windows 11 just fine for everything being done on it. This isn't a compatibility issue in my view; its just planned obsolescence to generate computer sales and therefore a new license of Windows. There are millions of computers that supposedly aren't "compatible" with Windows 11; and I get it from the TPM 2.0 aspect but hardware wise most of these systems are fully capable of running Windows 11.

    I managed to get updated to 23h2 and the computer tells me I am updated but no way to update to 24H2. But better than before. Thanks got getting me this far ☺️

    A big part of the problem here is what the definition of "version" is.

    If you do a standard query about how many versions of Windows 11 there are you get something entirely different.

    Windows 11 Home

    Windows 11 Pro

    Windows 11 Education

    Windows 11 Enterprise

    Windows 11 Pro Education

    Windows 11 Pro for Workstations

    Windows 11 Mixed Reality

    At least this is what I get...which is not what MS is saying when they say your 'version' of 11 is no longer supported.

    My question originally was, if MS is going to discontinue certain 'versions' of Windows 11, how many versions of Windows 11 are we going to have and at what point are you going to get a message that says your version is no longer supported?

    Perhaps if MS came out and stated exactly what they meant by versions it would help.

    I see discontinuance of a particular version of Windows 11 (that's 'version' in the context of this entire thread), while Windows 11 is allegedly still supported, as bollocks.

    Anyway, not really sure I'm going to pay any attention to it, everything I run is non-conforming, and if you look at the base specs that MS published for 11 they're nothing to crow about, but my goodness my 7th gen 6700k, we couldn't possibly support that processor...lol.

    What I don't understand is why MS didn't just come out and say they were no longer going to support win 11 on non-conforming equipment, and be done with it, but instead they played this silly game...for shame.
