Windows 11 reached end of service

Thanks John but I am stuck with no TPM version 2 with no possibility to upgrade to it and no ability to do a secure boot. I don't know how the man who refurbished the computer was able to get windows 11 on it. So I'll just have to live with it until I can upgrade to another computer. - mary

I must say though very poor way of doing business from Microsoft.

Why would they want people to update like this, particularly from a different version of windows 11. A backwards step from the previous scan for updates and manual approval.

Competition don’t operate this way. Microsoft didn’t operate this way either until recently.

Hi John,

I followed your instructions diligently. However, at the end of it, I received an error that says " We couldn't install Windows11- We've set your PC back to the way it was before you started installing Windows 11". This is followed by an error code as follows:

"0xC1900101-0x20017. The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during BOOT operation."

How do I overcome this error ?

I found a way around my out of life update problem..

I killed my old pc totaly. (skrapyard next)

bought a brand new one with 11PRO instaled

i'm upp an running again..

SUMMING UP.. referee say: " Microsoft wins. User loses" (stil thinking of bying a MAC)
