Same problem, have submitted feedback, and installed the earlier version of Phonelink from Rade Naumoski's post above - it seems to have solved the problem (at least until the next Windows update!).
Using Phone Link on computer it creates a group in chat - and does not send message to recipient
Phone is up to date
Computers are both up to date with MS update
BUT
Using Phone Link when I send a message to one of the people I message often rather than send message it creates a group. (see below)
On my phone it then shows as a group chat - which I can't edit
Works fine on my phone - but not on Phone Link - on both computers I own. Screenshot of how it ends up below.
I also have quite a few messages where both the name of recipient and my phone number comes up - just a bit of a pain.
I'd really appreciate any help on this
Thanks heaps
Gary

2025-02-09T03:40:22+00:00 Same problem - using HMD Pulse Pro.
Reverted to version 1.24101.60.0 and this solves the issue.
It would be nice if the ACTUAL issue was solved in the subsequent versions.

2025-02-09T22:56:23+00:00 Hi,
Having same issue.
Steps to reproduce.
When messages sent to my contacts, on windows phone there is a group for example
When i send a message to this group,
Windows phone shows in this group i have sent a message
But my phone shows me messaging myself as well in a separate non group chat.
Occassionally i get these unbound messages in a new group with both the same picture as above but just my messages in blue.
Which means I get a ping in microsoft phone that says i have a new message.
These issues are new to me on my Galaxy S24 Ultra,
I have not observed these issues happening previously, usually sending group messages everything is kept within the group message.
It could be that, the samsung phone is not determining the messages are grouped together when sending the message through phone link.
as on my messagees on my phone some messages appear to be grouped and others that are grouped in phone link are not grouped on my phone.

2025-02-09T23:21:47+00:00 My initial response was back in December and I've now stopped using Phone link.
Someone on here suggested Google message for Web, and it's much better. I'll just use that from now on and ditch Phone link.

2025-02-10T00:02:23+00:00 I think we all do, however phonelink have a ton of other features other than messaging so I would like to be able to use it again
