Can someone help me out here? After I updated my Windows software on my laptop this evening, I got a message saying "Your version of Windows has reached the end of service". This really confuses me because I'm on Windows 11 and I got a new laptop literally 2 months ago and I barely even used 10-15% of it's total memory space on my C Drive.
Does anyone know what's going on here? Does this mean I won't be able to get security updates for my Windows on my new laptop? Am I going to have to pay more money just to get Windows to work properly and stay up-to-date? I'm feeling very concerned.

I am having the same problem, it's popping up on my Task Bar, but when I go to Windows Update, it says "You are Up to Date" but youe device missing important security updates? And it's not giving me any details on how or where I can upload the new updates? HELP PLEASE?

The exact problem you have just started for me this week as well. I have been trying all morning to fix it. Still nothing.
I have Windows 11 version 22H2 OS Build 22621.4317.
I click check for updates under Windows Update and it finds nothing. However, I have an exclamation point under the update icon.
How can I receive updates going forward? Doesn't Microsoft usually release service packages for new versions automatically?
The Windows troubleshooter (and Dell SupportAssist) identifies there are updates issues but with no way to fix.
Microsoft release version updates once per year via windows update. When they are not installed or fail to install check update history) once the version is out of support update seem to stop.
Version 21H2 and 22H2 are out of support so if not updated that may be the reason. Or windows update has a problem which could relate to hardware and/or driver support.
Check to make sure the hardware bios and drivers are up to date. Check update history to see if version updates have failed to install in the past.
If it cannot be fixed by using the reinstall option in Settings > System > Recovery then go to Download Windows 11 and use the Windows 11 Installation Assistant.
Failing that download an ISO image file and use the in-place upgrade/repair option detailed for Windows 10 in the following link. Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade | Tutorials the process is the same for Windows 10 and 11 but for Windows 11 use the Download Windows 11
Here is my issue. There are devices out there that are pre-installed with Windows 11 that WILL NOT ACCEPT the newer builds of Windows. Typical Microsoft, not thinking from a customer's prospect but as a how to get money prospective. So are these error messages able to be turned off since my devices will not take the newer Windows 11 builds? I hope Microsoft would have taken hardware in mind before the decided to block out several devices from this upgrade. I would like to see some options.
