Can someone help me out here? After I updated my Windows software on my laptop this evening, I got a message saying "Your version of Windows has reached the end of service". This really confuses me because I'm on Windows 11 and I got a new laptop literally 2 months ago and I barely even used 10-15% of it's total memory space on my C Drive.
Does anyone know what's going on here? Does this mean I won't be able to get security updates for my Windows on my new laptop? Am I going to have to pay more money just to get Windows to work properly and stay up-to-date? I'm feeling very concerned.

You may have an older Windows 11 build, such as 21H2 or 22H2, both of which have reached the end of servicing. 23H2 and 24H2 are supported.
Please run "winver.exe" and post a screenshot of that dialog.

I have the same issue. Running Windows 11 22H2. No way to update in the settings, and I know for a fact my hardware is beyond capable, so why not update option?
after checking compatibility it sseems windows 11 no longer supports laptop with I5-7500 Processor, that is so much stupidity, guess Ill keep running 22h2 until I cant then switch to Linux ...
I am getting tired of this rate race forcing me to upgrade hardware that isn't needed to be upgraded because Microsoft defined their support cpu' to only e last 3 years hardware,
That processor has never been supported in Windows 11. There have been workarounds but Microsoft have closed those loopholes moving forward.
If you continue with 22H2 you are using an unsupported system and it won't get security updates.
May be best to switch to Linux now as windows is already out of support.
