Can someone help me out here? After I updated my Windows software on my laptop this evening, I got a message saying "Your version of Windows has reached the end of service". This really confuses me because I'm on Windows 11 and I got a new laptop literally 2 months ago and I barely even used 10-15% of it's total memory space on my C Drive.

Does anyone know what's going on here? Does this mean I won't be able to get security updates for my Windows on my new laptop? Am I going to have to pay more money just to get Windows to work properly and stay up-to-date? I'm feeling very concerned.

I just updated my Bios, then re-download windows 11 from Microsoft and now Windows-update is reading that I'm up to date.

Edit: No I did not have to download windows 11 to a disk or thumb drive. I just downloaded it to my PC, and let the installer handle it.

That’s wonderful. I did a lot of work for nothing possibly anyway. It still indicates my threadripper CPU is not supported on Windows 11 so it may or may not work after I update my BIOS. I’ll try it tomorrow and see what happens. I have a dual boot system so the disk that’s still on 22H2 possibly will update to 24H2. We’ll see.
