Can someone help me out here? After I updated my Windows software on my laptop this evening, I got a message saying "Your version of Windows has reached the end of service". This really confuses me because I'm on Windows 11 and I got a new laptop literally 2 months ago and I barely even used 10-15% of it's total memory space on my C Drive.

Does anyone know what's going on here? Does this mean I won't be able to get security updates for my Windows on my new laptop? Am I going to have to pay more money just to get Windows to work properly and stay up-to-date? I'm feeling very concerned.

What do you have currently. Have you run the windows update troubleshooter then restarted using Start >? Power Restart.

There is an option to fix problems in Windows 11 using Settings > System > Recovery > Fix using windows update > Reinstall now.

Or to try to update to the latest 24H2 you can use Download Windows 11 use the Windows 11 Installation Assistant.

Use the windows update troubleshooter to see if it finds any faults with windows update. Even if it doesn't restart the system via Start > Power > Restart. Windows Arm-based PCs FAQ - Microsoft Support

Download the ARM ISO Download Windows 11 Arm64 and mount it in File Explorer then run setup. Follow the prompts and see if that will update to 24H2.

It looks like this only works for x64. I am running Win11 22H2 ARM in a VM using Parallels on Apple Silicon and I have the same issue as of today.
