Can someone help me out here? After I updated my Windows software on my laptop this evening, I got a message saying "Your version of Windows has reached the end of service". This really confuses me because I'm on Windows 11 and I got a new laptop literally 2 months ago and I barely even used 10-15% of it's total memory space on my C Drive.

Does anyone know what's going on here? Does this mean I won't be able to get security updates for my Windows on my new laptop? Am I going to have to pay more money just to get Windows to work properly and stay up-to-date? I'm feeling very concerned.

What worked for me is to update Windows 11 to version 23H2 (x64). This gives me about 10 months to update to Windows 11, version 24H2, which doesn't seem to be available yet for my computers (at least it isn't showing up in Windows Update on my computers). To update from Windows 11, version 22H2 to 23H2, I followed the instructions in the July 25th, 2024 post by Ramesh Srinvasan (IA) here: how to install windows 11 23H2 and 24H2 feature update offline for - Microsoft Community. He provides a link to install the enablement package to quickly upgrade Windows 11 22H2 systems to 23H2 (https://catalog.sf.dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com/filestreamingservice/files/caa3ff4a-6420-4341-aeae-33b2d7f463be/public/windows11.0-kb5027397-x64_3a9c368e239bb928c32a790cf1663338d2cad472.msu). This is basically an offline package for the update. After downloading and then running the package locally, restarting, etc. I was able to run Windows updates and get the latest cumulative update for Windows 11, version 23H2. Everything is running. Just now need to wait until Windows update offers me 24H2 in the optional updates before 23H2 goes out of support in about 10 months.

I was gonna do that, but that's not an option. Considering I can't install anything on the computer, it requires me to go to the store and the store is not accessible from the guest account. It's forcing me into
