The best approach I have practiced, is to joins the Insider Programme (the recommended is Dev Channel, it is relatively more stable than the rest.), and then you will receive an update to the newest preview version of Windowes11 (mine is 23h2).

Pls note that preview version are usually unstable, so you need to unscbscribe the insider programme after the dev channel update(https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsinsider/leave-program).
Then, not soon you will receive the newest stable update. This is how i managed to move my device from 21H2 to 23H2.
Dear QuarterFin:
Thank you kindly for your selfless post. Your solution worked like a dream. After the first Cumulative Framework update came in, I rebooted the laptop, and Version 24H2 had fully installed. Your fix is a life-saver, because it did not affect precious resident data. So, it was not necessary to replace any files at all. It was a straight forward operation and it did not take long to execute. The final reboot sealed the deal. Thank you again, QuarterFin!
