    now is installing again, I will come back with the results, hope it will work this time.

    If the setup doesn't succeed, share the latest logs. If it fails during the partition resize operation, buy a new HDD and clone the existing one to the new HDD.

    Also, do you think upgrading to win 11 will be a good idea in this case? if this method doesn't work?

    Upgrading to Windows 11 won't help as it's not an OS issue but a hardware issue. Also, to check if your system is compatible with Windows 11, use this app.

    Your apps, settings, and files will be kept by default during a repair install/in-place upgrade.

    But, if you see the following screen (with grayed-out options), cancel the setup. This can happen if you use an incorrect ISO/USB.
