    After repair I got an error 0xC1900101 - 0x30004

    The installation failed in the FIRST_BOOT phase with an error during Install_recovery_environment operation

    Do you know why?

    Will the repair lead to data lose or something? and also is it safe to reconnect the pc to the internet?

    The in-place upgrade/repair installation should keep your files, apps, and settings.

    You may connect the system to the internet.

    1. Delete this folder:

    C:\ProgramData\DivXConverter

    1. Repair install Windows 10 using the ISO because malware has deleted Defender from the computer. Bernard has posted the repair install instructions using the Media Creation Tool.
