So my pc system settings say I'm on windows 11 pro but windows update says "Get the new version of windows to stay up to date Your version of windows has reached the end of service"

Also, you don't have to start the video from the beginning, since 23 minute mark is where the upgrade to 24H2 starts.

Truthfully, the Youtube video is hard to see, even on the desktop, sort of hard to follow really......a little bit confusing....

But will try again tomorrow. Is there a better way to get to the ISO tool?

That's okay.

If you are using the ISO, you don't need a DVD. The DVD is for if you need to use it on another computer, but that's not the case here.

Simply download the ISO by filling in the dropdowns, and then let it download it, then double-click the ISO to mount it (to make it as if it's a real disk drive), and then you should be able to continue to install Windows 11, 24H2.

Well, I started watching the video, just may have to wait or stay as is....it looks as if I need a DVD to download stuff, sorry, don't have any...

I guess I will just stay as is and look for another way to update windows 11 home from a link online....why the online links now do not work, I have no idea, had no problem installing Windows 11 Home from Windows 10 a couple yrs. ago from the online link Microsoft sent.....I am just not computer literate as you are, sorry.....little bit past my knowledge.

But as I mentioned, when I did the windows 11 assist last weekend, it looked as if all worked out great, then when screen said updating windows after restart, all looked good, then when it got to 100%, screen stayed blank for over an hour, just looked grey, I gave it over an hour to see if anything happened, but after an hour I just said, can't wait any longer, did the manual restart and all looked great, computer went back to working fine, but windows won't update.

Oh well, guess will stay as is...thanks for your help, or trying to help, I am just a computer dummy....
