I have read issues around Windows 11 24H2 which cause disruption /conflicts with GPU (eg NVidia) and iGPU (eg Intel Graphics)
I use both GPU's for Video and Photography processing for the Apps I have.
My iGPU is Enabled in BIOS and should not be disabled which it seems can happen with Windows 11 24H2. This is a step into the dark ages.
From evidence I see Windows 11 24H2 kills the iGPU
Has anyone else found this and what is Microsoft doing to fix it?

2025-01-29T01:18:24+00:00 MS is full of BS sometimes. Unless you pay them 1000$ a year for developer resources (which I do), you can't download older versions of Windows for which you have a license too. Apple I can download any version of macOS I want. This kind of business model needs to back fire as its totally anti-consumer and pro E-Waist for other reasons. MS should honestly be sued for this IMO.

but nothing in there about the iGPU and Graphics issues fixes ?.
Intel have done previous tests on their drivers (report back clean) and point finger at Windows 11 24H2 for the iGPU decoding mess.
Whoever decided to release Win 11 24H2 needs a lesson in QA testing.

I have 2 RTX 3060 GPUs as well though. Maybe its something to do with just more than 1 GPU in your system. Given 50% of laptops have two GPUs, this should have been tested more if this is the issue.

2025-02-02T03:27:44+00:00 I make no pretensions of being a Windows or software/hardware guru. That disclaimer aside, I have the strangest computer performance to report and I hope by doing so it can give you clues to solve this 24h2 / Nvidia graphics conflict, or a work around. Maybe this is in line with the conflicts you are having.
In the past 48 hours all online videos, animated graphics, youtube, anything moving onscreen really, have started stuttering. Choppy vids, etc. I have:
- Updated all drivers
- Updated all software including preview updates.
- Cleared all pertinent caches
- Run a ton of scans and tests of hard and software
- Turned performance features off, turn features on, and off
No success.
Stupid simple setup. Windows 11, Quadro RTX 4000. A Lenovo Thinkpad. Nothing special. No hotrodding. While filling out a support form to Microsoft there is a section where you can record the behavior. Yeah, you guessed it, while the recorder was running all graphics ran smooth. Submitted form anyway.
Then thought, wait, what can I turn on and leave on that will at least let me use this thing? Right clicked Start. Selected System. Minimized System window to bar. All graphics running smooth now. And I mean all. A work around for this machine but not solved. Reading most forums and M's poor response I'm not sure it will be.
A mighty tale about mighty little but this works and I didn't have to trash everything to do it. If this gives you clues on what the issue is, please check it out and let us know if you've got it sorted. If not, maybe this will help some of you for now. Cheers..
