Latest Windows 11 24/H2 Release and Graphics Issues

I have read issues around Windows 11 24H2 which cause disruption /conflicts with GPU (eg NVidia) and iGPU (eg Intel Graphics)

I use both GPU's for Video and Photography processing for the Apps I have.

My iGPU is Enabled in BIOS and should not be disabled which it seems can happen with Windows 11 24H2. This is a step into the dark ages.

From evidence I see Windows 11 24H2 kills the iGPU

Has anyone else found this and what is Microsoft doing to fix it?

    Problem fixed

    My video editor software Davinci Resolve works again after installing the two optional updates / HP Inc. - Firmware - 15.25.0.0 and HP Inc. - SoftwareComponent - 1.73.4045.0

    You could try uninstalling the last update - but not sure if a major update like Win 11 23 to Win 11 24 will allow that.

    Not tried it myself as I blocked Win 11 24 H2 update when I saw all reports on this.

    Not much else you can do until Microsoft wake up and issue a patch update on Win 11 24H2 to solve these GPU conflict issues

    I reported the problem on the Microsoft Hub as recommended, I don't know what else to do at the moment.

    This would appear to be consistent with many other reports about Windows 11 24H2 upsetting graphics functionality.

    Suggest you escalate to Microsoft.

    There has been no engagement from Microsoft on this issue.

    This is very poor customer service.

    My PC's Windows Update settings let the latest available updates be automatically detected, so between 17 December and 19 December I install Windows 11, version 24H2 (2024-11 Preview of the cumulative update of .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 24H2 for x64 (KB5048162))

    Since installing the update my original Davinci Resolve licensed editing software no longer opens. I search online for solutions to solve the problem and discover that I have to disable the video card of the Radeon processor; so in fact the software opens. When starting Davinci Resolve the error "your gpu memory is full try reducing the timeline resolution or the number of correctors’ appears". This error does not make sense because it appears when I launch the software and not while I am working on it.

    I performed all the operations within the Software recommended to solve the problem but nothing worked.

    I uninstalled the GEFORCE app and the NVIDIA video card and reinstalled everything again but nothing worked. I'm still in this situation and can't use the programme to edit because the viewers show black screen.

    I hope someone can explain and help me before I decide to reset my PC.
