I have read issues around Windows 11 24H2 which cause disruption /conflicts with GPU (eg NVidia) and iGPU (eg Intel Graphics)
I use both GPU's for Video and Photography processing for the Apps I have.
My iGPU is Enabled in BIOS and should not be disabled which it seems can happen with Windows 11 24H2. This is a step into the dark ages.
From evidence I see Windows 11 24H2 kills the iGPU
Has anyone else found this and what is Microsoft doing to fix it?

You should just re-install Win11 23H2 if you can.
MS needs to allow people to download older ISOs as some systems can't even run the newer ones at all making recovery impossible.
As I've said before, I think MS needs to be sued for not offering consumers older ISOs. You have to pay 1000$ a year to get access to this otherwise.

Before the 24H2 Win update, our NEW "Puget Systems" Video Editing Workstation was fantastic. 6 mo. later after 24H2, the auto update feature of intel (i9-14900k) and NVIDIA (RTX4090) began competing over default settings. I watched each auto updated come in day after day, back and forth, with both asking to be the default. (iGPU and GPU) Realized this might be a problem and stopped all updates. But it was too late, 24H2 couldn't be removed. I reverted Win. 11 to an early date before the Intel / NVIDIA updates and everything appeared to be O.K. not the same or as fast as before but O.K.
After these few updates, I realized Davinci Resolve 18.6 had slowed to a crawl. H.265 Quick Sync feature had been automatically removed from settings. Which was a show stopper for H.265 (4:2:0 )codec. DR will Render out H.265 videos twice as fast using Quick Sync vs RTX4090 alone.
After running several test, I verified the Workstation is slower and processing edits differently. iGPU and GPU would run close to 100% before. Now neither will operate beyond 50% most of the time. Maybe surge to 80% and right back down to 25% and then sit at 50%. Before if under heavy rendering load, both would stay between 80 - 100% and nothing slowed them down. Until after this 24H2 update. Why. . . ? Everything was great
I don't have time to waste the day or weeks testing variables to help Win. intel, NVIDIA be better. I'll adjust work flow to work around it. Which is why I spent the money on a high end machine to handle these issues / set backs.

Yes, that is what I did but like I said, until a couple of nVidia releases and a few Windows updates had passed, it made no difference. I 'believe' there was a bug in the nVidia drivers which eventually got resolved but I cannot prove that really
You have to do a clean install by deleting all your partitions, then selecting the unpartitioned drive as the install target. If you don't, you're not actually do a proper test.

The whole situation is horribly messy and very frustrating (as you rightly say) that both Microsoft and NVidia have not acknowledged any issues at all. This is very poor.
I might try and do a 'quaratined' test with Win 11 24H2 on a spare PC by loading latest Image using Media Creation tool
I'm certainly not upgrading my current Video editing platfirm on Win 11 23H2 yet
