I updated a desktop from windows 23H2 to 24H2 but windows update history shows as 23H2 and winver as well

I updated my desktop PC from windows 23H2 to 24H2 but Windows update history shows as 23H2 and Winver as well. Additionally, 24H2 was not shows on win update page.

Hi Krasimir,

It's the same error again. Maybe you can consider resetting Windows with the Keep my Files option.

To reset Windows 11 keeping files, open Settings > Recovery, click “Reset PC,” select “Keep my files,” and “Cloud downoad.”

    The C:\EFI folder must be renamed to something else. Unfortunately the disk is not detected in WinRE.

    Can you boot into any other Windows installation (on disk 0 or disk 1)? and rename the EFI folder on disk 2?
