I updated to Windows 24H2. I have now lost all of my audio. When I hover my mouse over the sound icon in the tray, it shows that "No audio device is installed". How do I fix this?

2025-01-18T13:33:42+00:00 If you access "System > Sound" from Control Panel, are there Output "Choose where to play sound" devices listed? In my case, after the update to 24H2, Windows pointed to the wrong output device. I had to select the correct output device to have it start working.

2025-01-23T09:42:57+00:00 I have the same problem. I’m using an Asus ROG Strix Scar 18 2023 (G834JY), and after the latest 24H2 update, the audio driver got deleted. When I try to reinstall the driver, nothing changes. The issue gets resolved when I roll back to the 23H2 update, but I want to stay on the latest version.
