Windows Update Troubleshooter failing to run, anyone else having problems?

Both my Desktop and Laptop are suffering the same problem when attempting to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter. Operating system is Windows 11 24H2 with all updates applied to 11 December 2024 including KB5048667. After going through to the point where the troubleshooter runs, I get "I'm sorry.  I was unable to run the Windows Update diagnostic. I might need to transfer you to an agent to help solve your problem." I've done all the obvious (sfc, DISM) and no problems were found. I'm thinking it must be a generic problem as it happens on both my Windows 11 machines.

I have also been getting "2025-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5053598)" every day for about a week now. I have tried all the suggestions I can find but it still tells me it failed and wants to restart.

That is odd. I had a similar issue too with that last update. Not sure what happened but had to do a roll back as well. Frustrating when you sit down to get some work done and you gotta spend an hour+ fixing things because an update broke. Glad you were able to get everything working!
