It seems to be a known issue but seeing as there are no fixes yet, maybe you need more people to bring up the problem.
Ever since the 24H2 update, games have been freezing up the entire computer, forcing a hard-reboot with no other solutions.
And yes, I've tried re-installing/updating graphics driver, and pretty much every solution offered so far with no avail (some mention turning off Auto-HDR, some mention disabling multi-threading options in-game, etc.).
The only solution on specific game, POE2, that has worked is playing it on DirectX11 instead of DirectX12.
Apparently the issue is easily resolved by rolling back to 23H2, but instead of the users having to resort to finding a way to downgrade their updates, is there a fix coming from Windows any time soon?

I went back to windows 10 and it solved my issues and dont plan on upgrading until 11 is stable again hell i get better performance on 10 than 11 did even before the 24h2 update ill probably check some new oss' out since theyre starting to accommadate gaming
i just used windows media creation tool and then manually updated windows 10 home version with security updates and a few feature updates but steer clear of 23h2 as well as 24h2 someone was talking about how Microsoft made an update on 24h2 and rolled that update back to 23h2 something to do with cpu scheduling
I installed 24H2 because they said it would improve performance... what a joke... ever since then my computer just 'sticks' for no reason and takes a minute or two to unstick. Task manager doesnt indicates anything in particular... although I have noticed CPU usage has increased a lot since the upgrade.
Goes to show you just cant trust anything Microsoft says or does.
The newest ISO from Microsoft for Windows 11 is still on 23H2.
Install it and update until 24h2 then pause or deactivate it to dodge 24h2. This should be better than dealing with a downgrade.
Also for me this a statement from MS that 24H2 is goofed. Why wouldn't they include the big boy update in their newest iso ?
I don't want any advice or a reply from some mod or employee from MS. I don't give a **** anymore because i tried everything possible anyway. The first reply in this thread is ridicoulous literally giving the advice to rollback. Fix your OS.
How i fixed the problem myself.
I installed Linux CachyOS. My system works like a charm since then. Worked out of the box, no driver needs to be installed. Way better frames and no crashes at all. Only game not working so far is Fortnite just because of their Anti-Cheat. So i kept a single poor NTFS partition with Win11 23h2 just for this game and that is also the reason i can post on this thread.
