My Windows simply doesnt let me roll back the update and my computer does not have HDR support (some users found out that turning the HDR off could help)

It seems to be a known issue but seeing as there are no fixes yet, maybe you need more people to bring up the problem.
Ever since the 24H2 update, games have been freezing up the entire computer, forcing a hard-reboot with no other solutions.
And yes, I've tried re-installing/updating graphics driver, and pretty much every solution offered so far with no avail (some mention turning off Auto-HDR, some mention disabling multi-threading options in-game, etc.).
The only solution on specific game, POE2, that has worked is playing it on DirectX11 instead of DirectX12.
Apparently the issue is easily resolved by rolling back to 23H2, but instead of the users having to resort to finding a way to downgrade their updates, is there a fix coming from Windows any time soon?

It goes like this...at our grocery stores we now have self checkouts, meaning they rely a good deal on the customer to complete the shopping process. We also have big companies like Microsoft, Bohemia, ect. who rely on the customer to find, report, and sometimes even solve any post-launch issues. For example... Bohemia recently launched the new 1.26 update for DayZ, yet the Types.xml files that contains the list and parameters of every item in the game was missing items and also contained tons of errors....which left thousands of server owners going behind Bohemia and repairing the mistakes. This is one of the most profitable business model in modern economics, but they lose out big time on customer satisfaction, and ease-of-use of the products.

That means:
Win key + X > System > Play > Deactivate game mode.
Graphics > Deactivate optimization for windowed display mode.
Below: Advanced graphics settings > Deactivate hardware accelerated GPU planning
It helped me in Diablo Immortal
I had no problems with 24H4 in other games
You should then restart your PC

Caution: If hardware accelerated GPU planning has been deactivated, it no longer works in new games for Nvidia frame generation DLSS and for AMD FSR!

2025-01-13T13:48:13+00:00 unbelievable how many months have passed without MS even considering fixing their update, my laptop and desktop are sluggish, crashing on games, backscreens, and i have to shut down using the button since nothing responds, i am stressing my hardware are you going to pay the cost? and still after the rollback the useless update notification is still there, are you for real? you are distributing an update that causes so many issues and there is no official response on when on what to do? have you become such a trash company with useless testers and more useless coders? FU and your update.
