New computer running windows 11. File explorer not showing preview for *.pes files (Brother Embroidery Software), but worked with no issues in Windows 10. Have read all of the potential solutions with no help. Appears file explorer cannot find the preview and may be associated with Onedrive, but not sure.
Contacted MS support and they said it was a 3rd party software issue and not a MS problem. They just ignored that everything worked fine in windows 10.
Would appreciate any help.

I tested that download in a Windows 11 virtual machine. I had to disable Windows Defender to allow the download.
As I suspected, the full install adds the shell extensions that provide thumbnails in icon views and a preview in the Details pane. There is no preview in the Preview pane.

As I stated, you won't get a preview with the Preview pane. Switch the rightmost pane to Details.
If you still don't see a preview, it's probably interference from OneDrive.
The right pane is on details and I have tried with OneDrive turned off without success.
Have the files set to remain on PC.

Just to be sure we're talking about the same thing, please see my previous post again. I updated it with a screenshot showing how you can switch the rightmost pane from Preview to Details. I have confirmed that it's exactly the same on Windows 10. That is, the rightmost pane must be set to show Details and not Preview in order to see a preview of the PES files.
What happens when you switch your main view from Details to icons (medium, large, or extra large)? Do you see thumbnails of the PES files or do you just see the PES flower icon?
If you don't see any thumbnails, please check a folder that is not a OneDrive folder, such as:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Brother\PE-DESIGN 11\Library\Design Library\Animals
Change the view to large icons.
