windows 11 file explorer not showing preview for *.pes files

New computer running windows 11. File explorer not showing preview for *.pes files (Brother Embroidery Software), but worked with no issues in Windows 10. Have read all of the potential solutions with no help. Appears file explorer cannot find the preview and may be associated with Onedrive, but not sure.

Contacted MS support and they said it was a 3rd party software issue and not a MS problem. They just ignored that everything worked fine in windows 10.

Would appreciate any help.

    My friend, I understand what you mean. Your software in question doesn't work perfectly in Windows 11, the preview window doesn't show what it looks like when you're done making it or its thumbnail doesn't show up as an icon in the folder and on the desktop (I've had previous experience with modeling and building similar 3d hardware).

    I think I understand that, but I checked the software you provided and at least in the introduction they don't indicate that the software is perfectly compatible with Windows 11, not excluding that in the future they will release new software adapted to Windows 11, but for now it's not available.

    Or do you expect Microsoft's Windows design team to make new adaptations and updates for the Brother PE Design software?

    If you just want to use the software perfectly, then rolling back the update to Windows 10 might be a better option.

    The device is a embroidery machine which does not print. This is Brother PE Design software that is having issues with Windows Explorer in Windows 11. As stated before after selecting the file in Windows Explorer the preview showed up in the preview pane to the righ without issues in Win 10, but not in Win 11.
