Hello,
I had a recent windows update on 15th January 2025. I have an update failure showing for - Dolby - SoftwareComponent - 3.30702.720.0 - Install Error - 0x8007013
Anyone else experienced this or any advise as to how to resolve?
I have tried running the updates again but get the same result.

That is a problem many people report with the drivers that Windows Updates tries to install, if that update is continually failing, then the best option is to use to official Microsoft Show/Hide Tool to hide that driver update to stop Windows continually trying to install that driver.

My PC (fresh Windows 11 install from December to try and cure the Windows Update problem with Intel Corporation Extension) seems be starting a collection of these issues..
This is starting to look like a more general problem with Windows Update rather than the drivers themselves. I suspect we'll see more over the next few months (unless a fix is released).. definitely needs some investigation by Microsoft.
that didn't work for me.
I had the same issue and Show/Hide did not pick up the update. I ended up running SFC /Scannow and it took care of the issue. The Dolby update no longer shows up in the update list.
