Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

That is a problem many people report with the drivers that Windows Updates tries to install, if that update is continually failing, then the best option is to use to official Microsoft Show/Hide Tool to hide that driver update to stop Windows continually trying to install that driver.

Ok, go ahead and keep being an apologist for their continuously buggy releases. Crazy thing happened with me. Everything started working right on my PC when I got a new one, released years after Windows 11 released. I am literally praying that Windows 12, which they'll somehow force me into, won't break my stable system.

My PC was compliant for the Windows 11 upgrade so I updated it. This problem is happening to all computers that updated to Windows 11 from Windows 10. Windows recognizes the driver and doesn’t know that the driver for another operating system other than Windows 11. Microsoft told me the update will disappear on the next update and it did.

Microsoft should not have allowed you to update to Windows 11 since your PC was not in Windows 11 compliance.

Instead, they allow systems to SHIP out of compliance. Sad.
