Hello,
I had a recent windows update on 15th January 2025. I have an update failure showing for - Dolby - SoftwareComponent - 3.30702.720.0 - Install Error - 0x8007013
Anyone else experienced this or any advise as to how to resolve?
I have tried running the updates again but get the same result.

That is a problem many people report with the drivers that Windows Updates tries to install, if that update is continually failing, then the best option is to use to official Microsoft Show/Hide Tool to hide that driver update to stop Windows continually trying to install that driver.
I believe you meant to specify a link with https:// ?

When I click on the link above (http://download.microsoft.com/download/F/2/2/F22D5FDB-59CD-4275-8C95-1BE17BF70B21/wushowhide.diagcab) An error message says that I can't download wushowhide.diagcab securely. How do I get rid of the error message?
Are you trying to download the show/hide tool using the Edge browser? Don't! Several people reported they got an error message, or a message saying that the file is a virus while trying to download it in Edge. My default browser is Firefox and I had absolutely no issues downloading the file. Tried it again in Firefox a few minutes ago and it's still downloading smoothly. Make sure to use DaveM121's link above so you'll have no errors. Good luck!
