I just bought this computer less than 2 weeks ago and some updates have downloaded and installed but this one will not. the update I'm having problems with is 2025-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5050009)

    This is the same issue I am having mines now says 8% but it has taken OVER 12 hours to get to this point, I WFH on this computer and can't open my software for work with this acting this way. Please tell me how to STOP the update so I can get back to work.

    Same here. Pause the updates.

    To pause updates on Windows 11, go to Start > Settings > Windows Update and then select the desired pause duration for updates; you can temporarily delay downloading and installing updates by using the "Pause updates" option within the settings menu.

    I have the same issue on my Dell XPS 13.

    Clean install of Windows 11 a couple of months ago but now getting this:-

    2025-01 Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 24H2 for x64 (KB5050577) Download error - 0x80070020

    Same as many others on here.
