Similar problem. Update history shows "2025-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5050009)" as having been installed on 16 January yet Windows Update keeps prompting restart. Why?

Same issue with my Dell Inspiron, the following update not getting installed:

    2025-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5050009)

It's asking for restart and then its giving error and it is again going back to the same 'Download' state.
