I just bought this computer less than 2 weeks ago and some updates have downloaded and installed but this one will not. the update I'm having problems with is 2025-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5050009)

2025-01-19T10:53:10+00:00 Similar/same issue. Update seems to download, but fails to install at some point during installation. The highest progress % that I've seen is 53%. That's install not download.

I've tried solutions mentioned here: https://www.techaipost.com/windows-11-update-failed-to-install/ all, except for the DNS. Update still fails.
In my case the issues started with an update in mid December. After this the issues started. I've updated drivers, etc, but the computer is super laggy when waking to the lock screen. Sometimes, when starting a new email with Outlook Classic, an extra window is opened with "Word" written in title bar. The computer got the BSOD on every restart/shutdown, the dock did not work properly (it's a Lenovo ThinkPad). I tried to uninstall that update which made it a little better - no BSOD anymore, but it's still lagging and the update won't install.
