Today Jan 19, 2025. when I want to check for updates ( with automatic updates button ON position), updates are not installing. It says as under:

Grateful, if some one can help me to resolve this so that I can installed the updates

Magically, the update got installed and now my Build is 26100.3037. However, I still cannot install downloads from Windows Update, specifically an Intel graphics driver and Win 11 does not recognize me as an administrator even though I am the sole user of the computer. Also, when I use the netplwiz program, it says I am an administrator. If you can help with this please advise.

Do you mean it worked using the offline installer?

Why do you think so? The batch file output confirms that you were able to turn off/on the services. Only an admin can do that. Limited users will get the error "[SC] OpenService FAILED 5:" when modifying services.
Actually, nothing changed except that my Build is as noted above at 26100.3037. The same Intel graphic update still remains in the Windows Update screen and I cannot run sfc /scannow from the command prompt. It may be true that some admin powers are available for some processes but the /scannow process is not available. I cannot launch the C:// prompt in admin mode. If I launch the command prompt w/o admin, an error message says that I need to have admin privileges running a console session. However, it appears that I am able to download other updates using the Windows Update system. Thank you for your help with this issue. If you have any other suggestions, please advise.

If the intel update fails to install, it doesn't mean you're not an admin. Do you get any errors when installing the Intel graphics driver update?
Are you able to open Task Manager and start cmd.exe as admin?
What about other apps? Can you start Notepad.exe elevated?
You are right, the Intel driver from Windows Update has nothing to do with the admin issue. The error associated with the Intel driver problem is 0x80070103. I've tried the remedies I found on the web to correct this but it still doesn't install or go away. Intel has a site that detects its components on my computer. That detector downloaded and installed a later driver than the Windows update driver. Normally, if a driver is older than one already installed, then the older driver gets deleted.
I am able to open Task Manager using ctrl/alt/delete but not as an admin and I am not able to start cmd.exe as an admin. When I open Notepad.exe using the icon I receive an error message "cannot find the C:\user\jkett\OneDrive\Desktop\rejoin link.txt file" but I can use the program. I'm not sure what is meant by "elevated" so please let me know. I subscribe to MS 365 which works ok.
Any other ideas or questions I can answer to help better detect the problem? Again, thank you for taking the time on this issue.
