Why is Task Host stopping my PC from shutting down?

Whenever I shut PC down it says I have one app open and need to shut it down first. There is no apps open. The message also mentions the Task Host stopping the shut down.

2025-05-05T05:55:44+00:00 I also tried Mr. Doyons excellent guidance step by step, and I too was told it couldn't help me, to contact an agent. But I noticed further down the Get Help page one piece of advice was to clear the Windows Update cache. And, yay!, that seems to have fixed it for me.
