Whenever I shut PC down it says I have one app open and need to shut it down first. There is no apps open. The message also mentions the Task Host stopping the shut down.

2025-03-07T03:00:05+00:00 I tried this. It did not solve the problem. Was transferred to online chat but the wait time is 45 minutes. I can't wait that long. Microsoft please provide a user-friendly solution right away. Thank you.
I have the same issue and it started a few days ago. And checking for updates took forever and I could not wait any longer and had to shut down the computer.
