Why is Task Host stopping my PC from shutting down?

Whenever I shut PC down it says I have one app open and need to shut it down first. There is no apps open. The message also mentions the Task Host stopping the shut down.

Had this issue several weeks ago and ended up doing a windows 11 restore. It fixed it but it was a bit of pain to do. Now, after the recent windows update earlier this week this task host shutdown issue came back.

So when I tried to shutdown and got the task host message I held down the power button on my computer till it shut off. It's been two days and the task host shutdown error has not returned. (Thanks to those who suggested this earlier in this thread)

Obviously something in the Windows 11 updates are causing the issue as it only came back a day or two after doing the update...same as before when I first had the issue(it happened right after an win11 update also).

What's going on Microsoft...fix the issue already.

BTW...I have two computers running windows11 and only one has this issue. Both have minimal software/apps installed.
