Hi all,
Getting Error on around 40 devices for Windows Updates: Installing Feb 2025 Security Update Win 10 64 bit (KB5051974)
We have 1000 devices total and it only seems to be occurring on around 40 of them, but its the same problem on each.
Windows Update forces restart and then after booting back up it says cannot complete update, reverting changes.
Have tried SFC Scannow / DISM Repairs but same issue repeatedly occurs. Also tried manually completing the updates by downloading from the catalog but same error occurs there.
Error Code Showing in Windows Update is : 0x800f0922
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Sam,
The systems affected by this issue have these extra drivers.
R3 iaLPSS2_GPIO2_TGL; C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\ialpss2_gpio2_tgl.inf_amd64_d0e63c4e3754f42f\iaLPSS2_GPIO2_TGL.sys [128152 2020-08-27] (Intel Corporation -> Intel Corporation)

Those drivers don't exist in the "good" system. Maybe we can start the troubleshooting from there.
Additional note:
Driver View from Nirsoft shows the list of currently loaded drivers.
https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/driverview.html
Please run that tool in Safe mode on "L20192" PC and also on "D20020" PC.
Select all entries, right-click and choose "HTML report (all items).
Repeat the same on "D20020".
Then, enable "Hide Microsoft drivers" in the View menu.
Select all entries, right-click and choose "HTML report (all items).
Repeat the same on "D20020".
Share the 4 HTML logs.
Hi Ramesh,
I've been working with Haydar on this. Here are some logs from a device that is unaffected:
Regarding the query about BCDEDIT, I'll come back to you ASAP.
Thank you.
Sam.
